What do we stand for
We have distilled what our core values are at St. Thomas. We looked at what is it about this congregation that is most important to God, to us, and to our future -
Come together as children of God,
Grow into our faith,
Serve God in others,Make a Difference for ourselves, for others, and for the world.
Children!
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Incorporating children into the life of the church has always been an integral part of who we are at St. Thomas. In all we do our goal is to model the love of Jesus Christ and to teach his good works through scripture, prayer, tradition, and fellowship. Our offerings are many: From weekly Sunday School and worship to special seasonal activities, we want the church to be a place where youngsters feel completely loved and welcomed, and parents are comfortable knowing their kids are in a safe and nurturing environment.
Nursery
From newborns to toddlers, our youngest members are lovingly cared
for by our nursery staff.
Open every Sunday morning from 8:30 to noon, we also have nursery care
for all parish-wide events and other special activities.
Sunday School
Educational classes are held for 3 year olds through 5th grade during the regular school season from 9:45 – 10:45. We use a lectionary-based Episcopal curriculum, Living the Good News. Our program is supplemented throughout the year with music, crafts and other activities, and many of our parishioners join us throughout the year to share their special ministries.
Children’s’ Church
Offered during the 8:45 and 10:45 services, Children’s’ Church takes place during the scripture readings and sermon. Children ages preschool through 3rd grade are encouraged (but not required) to join us in a special kid-friendly worship area for their own readings of the daily lessons.
Special/Seasonal Activities
In addition to our weekly activities, St. Thomas offers an array of kid- and family-friendly activities. Included are:
Rally Day, kickoff to the new school year
Hayride and Cookout

Winter Blues Party
Celebration Sunday, with Easter Egg Hunt and Graduates reception
Vacation Bible School
Summer Fun Sunday School, held in June and July
